Geraldton is one of the top fishing and water sport destinations in Western Australia. It also becomes the gateway to wildflower country from July until October, as hundreds of vivid colourful blooming varieties stretch as far as the eye can see.

A popular shopping extravaganza not to be missed. Our local Markets boast a diverse range of stalls from home made food and drinks to art, craft and health products! Old Railway Station Markets: Sundays from 8am to 12pm
Bushwalking
The Chapman River system is a beautiful place to stroll alongside from the hills to the Ocean. It is one of our favourite places, with wildlife, WA wildflowers, cycle tracks and mountain bike tracks all along the Waterway. Visit: Chapman River friends on Facebook. : For tours in season. This is a group of volunteers who help in the rehabilitation of the area and promotes the health of the Chapman River System
Chapman Valley District
Not far from Drummond Cove Holiday Park is the Chapman valley district with it rich cultural history. The Valley is a picturesque drive which extends 8km North of the Park on the Coast eastward to the Greenough River, North to the Rabbit Proof Fence and South to the East Chapman River. HMAS Sydney II Memorial
The Memorial is Geraldton’s premier site for honouring the 645 Australian Soldiers who were lost off the Kormoran. The HMAS Sydney II Memorial is the second memorial to be recognized of national significance outside the Australian Capital City of Canberra. The Geraldton Voluntary Tour Guides Association offers a daily tour at 10:30am, taking in the five elements steeped in symbolism. No booking necessary for the tour unless you require a group booking. Water Sports
Beach walking, swimming, snorkling and water sports are safe and accessible in Geraldton. Most beaches are dog friendly – with plenty of off the leash wide open areas for your fur babies to run fee.
